Created by Chris Maurice in 2021 in collaboration with Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, Monkey Special opens with rum, passionfruit, geranium, and bergamot before Singapore patchouli, cinnamon, leather, and Bulgarian rose settle into caramel, vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood, labdanum, musk, and ambergris. A dark, boozy, leathery composition with real rock-and-roll swagger.
